Summary

The Retail Sales associate helps customers find shoes that suit their style and fit preferences while delivering personalized service. The role builds customer relationships and supports sales goals through in-store and digital selling.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve in-store and digital sales goals using available selling tools.
• Build lasting customer relationships and provide honest, confident style and fit feedback.
• Develop product and fashion knowledge to support customers.
• Maintain a customer-ready department by filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, completing markdowns, and performing light cleaning.
• Open new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts and collaborate with the team.

• Interest in using networking and technology to achieve sales goals.
• Ability to work well on a team, prioritize multiple tasks, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs and occasionally perform duties in another department.
• Ability to remain in continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift and regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
