Retail Sales - Stonebriar Centre

Summary

Seasonal and regular retail salesperson focused on fashion and styling, responsible for achieving sales goals both in-store and through digital channels, building customer relationships, and maintaining a customer ready department. Schedule varies weekly and may require flexibility to work in different departments as needed. Role includes physical tasks such as lifting, stocking, and merchandising while using technology and networking to drive sales.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using selling tools including text and social media
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow a customer following
• Provide excellent customer service and offer honest feedback on style and fit
• Stock merchandise, fill orders, re-merchandise, perform price markdowns, and keep department customer ready
• Open new Nordstrom Rewards accounts to grow relationships
• Work collaboratively with team members and be flexible to perform duties in other departments
• Perform continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift including bending, reaching, and lifting

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and goal oriented with strong interest in networking and technology to achieve sales goals
• Ability to excel in a team environment and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Organized with strong follow through and ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
• Ability to perform physical requirements including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds
