Job Description

Summary

Customer-focused retail sales role in women's apparel responsible for driving in-store and digital sales, building lasting customer relationships, and maintaining department presentation. The salesperson will use technology and social media to grow a customer following and support Nordstrom Rewards enrollment. Schedule varies based on business needs and may require flexibility to work in other departments occasionally.

Responsibilities

  • Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling
  • Engage and build lasting relationships with customers
  • Provide styling advice and confident feedback on fit and product
  • Use text and social media to cultivate and customer following
  • Open new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts
  • Fill orders, stock, remerchandise, and perform price markdowns
  • Perform light cleaning and keep department customer ready
  • Be flexible to work in other departments as needed
  • Follow visual merchandising and product knowledge practices
