Salesperson responsible for providing exceptional fashion styling and customer service in a womens apparel department, cultivating and growing a customer following both digitally and in-store, and supporting department operations including merchandising and inventory tasks.
Responsibilities
- Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using selling tools such as text and social media
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow customer following
- Provide honest and confident styling and fit advice to customers
- Perform department tasks including filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning
- Open new rewards program accounts and promote loyalty programs
- Work flexible hours with schedules that vary by week based on business needs
- Occasionally perform duties in other departments as needed
Requirements
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Self-motivated and goal oriented with a strong interest in networking and using technology to achieve sales
- Ability to excel in a team environment and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Organizational skills and strong follow through
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Physical ability to stand and move continuously for 6-8 hours and perform frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds
