Job Description

Summary

Customer-focused retail salesperson responsible for driving in-store and digital sales for men parel, building lasting customer relationships, and maintaining a customer ready department. This role requires flexibility in schedule, occasional cross-department work, and use of texting and social media to engage customers.

Responsibilities

  • Set and achieve sales goals through in-store and digital selling
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Provide style and fit guidance and confident product recommendations
  • Use networking and technology such as text and social media to support sales
  • Open new rewards program accounts to grow relationships
  • Stock merchandise, fill orders, re-merchandise, and perform price markdowns
  • Keep the department customer ready and perform light cleaning
  • Work a flexible schedule based on business needs
  • Occasionally perform duties in other departments as required

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented work ethic
  • Interest in fashion and product knowledge development
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment
  • Organization and strong follow-through
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including variable hours
  • Physical ability to be on feet 6-8 hours with frequent bending and reaching
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 25 pounds
