Summary

Responsible for receiving, unpacking and delivering merchandise to selling departments, fulfilling customer orders, and supporting store operations through inventory processing and general store maintenance. Works independently in a fast paced retail environment and uses inventory systems and technology to process shipments and customer orders while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload freight, unpack merchandise and deliver to selling departments
• Fulfill and prepare customer orders following packing and shipping standards
• Utilize inventory management systems to scan and process shipments
• Research and resolve merchandise shipment issues in accordance with inventory control
• Assist with maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
• Support store events setup, markdowns and relocation of store fixtures
• Lift and carry merchandise regularly up to specified weight limits

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to use various technologies and computer applications
• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
