Summary

Seasonal and regular logistics processor responsible for receiving, unpacking and delivering merchandise to selling departments while fulfilling customer orders and preparing shipments. Works in a fast paced retail environment supporting store operations including merchandising, backroom organization and event setup. Requires physical stamina and ability to lift and carry merchandise per store standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload freight and unpack merchandise for selling departments
• Deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling floors and stockrooms
• Fulfill and prepare customer orders following packing and shipping standards
• Use inventory management systems to scan and process shipments
• Research and resolve inventory discrepancies per control processes
• Assist with maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
• Support store activities such as special event setup, markdowns and fixture relocation
• Follow quality standards when handling and shipping merchandise

Requirements

• High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfort using various technology and computer applications
• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
• Ability to perform continuous movement for 6 to 8 hours with frequent bending and reaching
• Frequent use of hands for grasping and manual tasks
