Summary

Seasonal and regular role responsible for receiving, processing and fulfilling merchandise and customer orders in a fast paced retail environment. The role supports inventory control, shipping and maintaining organized selling floors and stockrooms while meeting quality standards and providing strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload freight and unpack merchandise for selling departments
• Deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling floors and stockrooms
• Fulfill and prepare customer orders following packing and shipping standards
• Utilize inventory management systems to scan and process shipments
• Research merchandise shipments and support inventory control processes
• Assist with maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
• Support store activities such as special event setup, markdowns and fixture relocations

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfort using various technology and computer applications
• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
• High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
