Summary
The Logistics Processor receives, processes and delivers merchandise to selling departments while fulfilling customer orders and supporting store operations. This role requires independence, attention to detail and the ability to work a flexible schedule in a fast paced retail environment. Physical stamina is required due to frequent lifting, bending and movement throughout shifts.
Responsibilities
- Receive and unload freight and unpack newly arrived merchandise
- Deliver merchandise to selling departments and assist with stockroom organization
- Fulfill and prepare customer orders following packing and shipping standards
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan and process shipments
- Research merchandise shipments and support inventory control processes
- Assist with store tasks such as markdowns, fixture relocation and special event setup
- Maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
- Provide general support to store associates and management as needed
Requirements
- High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using various technologies and computer applications
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours and perform frequent bending and twisting
- Frequent use of hands for grasping and manipulation and ability to handle bulky items
- Ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
