Summary
Seasonal logistics processor responsible for receiving, unpacking and delivering merchandise, fulfilling and shipping customer orders, and supporting store operations. Role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to use inventory systems while maintaining organized stockrooms and selling floors. The position supports store events, markdowns and fixture relocations and follows packing and shipping standards. This is a seasonal retail role with a flexible schedule based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Receive and unload freight and unpack merchandise for selling departments
- Deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments
- Fulfill customer orders and prepare shipments following quality and packing standards
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan and process shipments
- Research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes
- Maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
- Provide general store support such as setting up events and relocating fixtures
- Assist with markdowns and backroom organization
- Follow safety and handling procedures for bulky or heavy items
Requirements
- High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfort using technology and new computer applications
- Flexible schedule availability based on business needs
- Ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours and perform frequent bending and reaching
- Frequent use of hands for grasping and fine manipulation
- Ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and frequently up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Customer service orientation to support outstanding experiences
