Summary

Responsible for receiving, unpacking and delivering merchandise to selling departments, fulfilling and shipping customer orders, and supporting overall store operations. Works independently in a fast paced environment while following inventory control and quality standards. Must be able to lift and move merchandise and assist with maintaining organized stockrooms and selling floors.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload freight and unpack merchandise for selling departments
• Deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling areas
• Fulfill customer orders following packing and shipping standards
• Use inventory management systems to scan and process shipments
• Research and resolve inventory discrepancies per control processes
• Assist with backroom organization, markdowns and relocating store fixtures
• Support store events and provide general operational support
• Maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms

• High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfort with using technology and new computer applications
• Flexible schedule based on business needs
• Ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending and reaching
• Frequent use of hands for grasping and fine manipulation
• Ability to lift frequently up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
