Summary
The Retail Support Associate assists the store team with operational duties to improve store productivity and performance. The role handles shipments, inventory support, basic luggage repairs, stock placement, and client support as directed by management.
Responsibilities
- Monitor flow of shipments and follow up on discrepancies
- Perform box counts and validate against bills of lading
- Assist with yearend inventory counts and preparation
- Determine shipping methods and prepare paperwork
- Complete transfer forms and receive merchandise onto the selling floor
- Ensure stock areas and cash wraps are neat and stocked with operational supplies
- Perform basic luggage repairs using small hand tools
- Assist selling floor with product placement stock recovery and client advisors
- Perform deliveries and handle new projects as requested by management
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Detail oriented and task focused
- Professional with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem solving skills and a positive team player attitude
- Ability to work varied hours including nights weekends and holidays
- Must be able to lift large boxes up to 25lbs repeatedly
- Ability to use client tools to communicate about repairs and product proposals
