Retail Training Trainee

Summary

This temporary role supports retail learning initiatives for seasonal collections and onboarding, based at 598 Madison Ave in New York. The Trainee will create training content, coordinate onboarding and in-person facilitation, and monitor learning metrics to ensure store teams complete required training.

Responsibilities

• Support creation of seasonal collection training in partnership with merchandising
• Create engaging video content and assist in development of training modules
• Coordinate onboarding programs and facilitate in-person sessions
• Track and report leaders' weekly coaching participation and store digital learning completion
• Monitor progression of mystery shopping scores and learning progression of new employees
• Track monthly training hours delivered and update weekly learning curriculum and onboarding resources

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 1 year of internship or working experience (1–2 years preferred)
• Tech savvy with experience in MS Office and content tools such as Canva
• Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills; highly organized with good time management and attention to detail
• Team player who can work autonomously; empathetic with strong listening skills
• Previous fashion or retail sales experience a plus; foreign languages a plus
