Summary
The Sales Associate develops deep, long lasting relationships with customers to increase sales, service, and loyalty. Compensation is commission-based and directly tied to sales volume results. The role requires strong product knowledge across all merchandise categories and proactive client engagement.
Responsibilities
- Consistently deliver extraordinary service to all customers
- Exceed sales and service goals and targets
- Build and maintain a loyal personal client base by acquiring new customers and developing existing clients
- Attend product knowledge and vendor training sessions and Holt Renfrew seminars
- Perform floor recovery, visual merchandising, price changes, and related sales support tasks
- Communicate regularly with personal clients about events, merchandise requests, and follow up
- Resolve customer service issues and partner with selling management as needed
- Comply with Health and Safety policies and requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years experience in a commission-based luxury sales environment
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quota
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Highly collaborative and team oriented
- Experience leveraging social media to build a personal brand
- Skilled at using multiple technology channels to strengthen relationships and drive client acquisition
- Strong understanding of current and emerging fashion trends
- Broad product knowledge across all store merchandise categories
- Proactive about staying informed on new merchandise deliveries to maximize selling potential
