Sales Associate - Home - North Michigan

Summary

As a Sales Associate in Home, you will deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales on the home floor of the North Michigan Avenue store. You will advise customers on home furnishings, textiles, tabletop and decor, assist with styling and purchases, and help maintain an engaging visual presentation. This part-time role focuses on client engagement, achieving sales goals, and supporting daily store operations.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers and provide personalized product recommendations in the Home department
• Achieve individual and team sales targets and contribute to store performance
• Maintain merchandising standards and ensure product displays are organized and stocked
• Process sales transactions, exchanges and returns accurately
• Assist with inventory replenishment, receiving and loss prevention procedures

Requirements

• 2+ years of retail or customer service experience, preferably in home or specialty departments
• Strong communication and customer service skills with a client-focused approach
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
• Familiarity with home furnishings and decor is preferred; ability to lift and move product as needed
