Summary
The Sales Associate is responsible for achieving sales goals and developing lasting client relationships by providing the highest level of customer service, following company policies and procedures, and maintaining knowledge of merchandise and market trends.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales goals and maximize sales performance
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of merchandise
- Manage post-sale details including shipping alterations and special requests
- Provide exceptional customer service and build repeat clientele using clienteling tools
- Resolve client problems and complaints quickly and effectively
- Maintain facility presentation and organization
- Assist with inventory management on the selling floor and in the stockroom
- Participate in shippingreceiving protocols and physical inventories
- Comply with Point-of-Sale policies and execute register functions
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years retail sales experience, preferably in the luxury market
- Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand or walk frequently
- Willingness to adhere to work schedule time and attendance policies
- Participation in training development seminars programs and meetings as directed by store management
