Summary

Join the store team at a hiring event for Sales and Support positions at a major department store location. Roles span customer service, sales, jewelry, cashier, stock and fulfillment with on the spot offers for many positions. The work is retail focused and involves continuous movement and customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers on the sales floor
• Operate cash register and handle transactions as a cashier
• Maintain merchandise presentation and replenishment on the sales floor
• Perform stock, fulfillment, and delivery tasks as needed
• Support jewelry and apparel departments with product knowledge and sales
• Participate in hiring event interviews and onboarding activities
• Lift and carry merchandise up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally

Requirements

• Ability to continuously move for 6 to 8 hours per shift with frequent bending and reaching
• Frequent use of hands for grasping and fine manipulation
• Capability to handle bulky or awkward items and lift above head when required
• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred; entry level candidates considered
• Availability to attend the hiring event and participate in interview process
