Sales Associate

Summary

Retail sales associate responsible for welcoming clients, educating them about the brand, and driving sales in a boutique eyewear environment. Role focuses on building lasting client relationships, meeting individual and store targets, and maintaining store presentation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome clients to ensure they feel comfortable in the environment
• Educate clients about products and brand heritage
• Build and cultivate long lasting relationships with existing and potential clients
• Meet individual and store sales targets and goals
• Incorporate product knowledge to improve sales and transaction value
• Assist with general housekeeping and maintenance of store image
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of sales experience; eyewear, jewelry or fashion experience a plus
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Self starter with entrepreneurial spirit and passion for eyewear and design
• Flexible schedule with availability for occasional evenings and weekends
• Optician license or certification preferred but not required
