Sales Associate - Valley Fair

The Sales Associate at Valley Fair is responsible for delivering exceptional client service, achieving individual sales goals, and building lasting client relationships. This role requires mastery of product knowledge and selling ceremonies, as well as an understanding of Boutique operating processes.

• Achieve and exceed individual sales goals and key performance indicators, including sales volume, units per transaction, and average dollar per transaction.
• Maintain a strong drive for results and a positive, team-first attitude.
• Ensure a welcoming client-focused environment, offering best-in-class service in person, over the phone, and through electronic communication.
• Develop a local and international client book, recruiting and developing top clients.
• Demonstrate strong product expertise and engage clients through product details and stories.
• Support floor moves, merchandising, visual merchandising, and housekeeping as needed.
• Help locate merchandise at other boutiques for clients and accurately process charge-send sales.
• Participate in inventory and cycle counts, protecting boutique assets by following operating procedures.

• At least 3 years of retail sales and client service experience, preferably in a luxury consumer goods environment.
• Strong drive for business results with a passion for creativity, fashion, and the brand.
• Ability to develop strong and lasting relationships through strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Provide outstanding customer service in person, over the phone, and through electronic communication.
• Ability to adjust priorities and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to operate necessary equipment, including phone systems, cash register, and computers.
• Can stand for extended periods and handle boxes of merchandise, lifting at least 30 lbs.
• Willingness to adhere to all company policies, procedures, regulations, and standards.
