Summary

The Sales Associate develops deep, long-lasting relationships with customers to drive sales and loyalty in the womenswear contemporary department. The role combines exceptional customer service with achieving sales targets; compensation includes hourly base pay plus commission tied to sales volume. Associates support merchandising and operational tasks while leveraging technology and social media to engage clients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver extraordinary customer service and exceed sales and service goals
• Build and maintain a loyal personal client base through acquisition and retention
• Attend product and vendor training and Holt Renfrew seminars
• Perform floor recovery, visual merchandising, price changes, and sales support tasks
• Communicate with clients via phone, mail, and electronic channels about events and merchandise
• Resolve customer issues and collaborate with selling management on escalations
• Comply with health, safety, privacy, and cyber security policies

Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years experience in a commission-based luxury sales environment
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to leverage social media and digital channels to build a personal brand and acquire clients
• Skilled at using multiple technology channels to strengthen client relationships
• Strong understanding of fashion trends and broad product knowledge across store categories
• Proactive about new merchandise and maximizing selling opportunities
