Sales Audit Analyst - Midtown

Summary

Seasonal six month Sales Audit Analyst role responsible for sales, bank, and general ledger reconciliations across entities in the Americas. Position supports internal and external audit requests while partnering with retail and corporate teams and ensures accurate recording of payments and adherence to controls and policies. Role is based in the corporate office and requires four days onsite per week.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and reconcile freestanding and lease department store accounts.
• Investigate tender variances and escalate issues to IT via ticketing.
• Execute monthly closing procedures and prepare journal entries.
• Perform general ledger reconciliations for accuracy.
• Manage SAP account aging and clearing processes.
• Apply intercompany payments per procedures.
• Conduct receivable and fee analysis to identify trends and discrepancies.
• Invoice internal and external customers and file evidence for chargeback claims.
• Generate ad hoc reports and contribute to special projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant finance experience.
• Proven quantitative and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Deadline oriented with ability to manage month end tasks.
• Proficiency in Excel and SAP required.
• Experience with reconciliations, bank and sales tender investigations.
• Ability to prepare audit documentation and support audit requests.
• Comfortable working onsite four days per week in Midtown Manhattan.
