The Sales Manager leads a team of sellers to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve sales targets while fostering employee development, operational excellence, and compliance with health and safety and privacy policies.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets and customer service objectives for the assigned area
- Recruit, select, hire and onboard talent and lead retention efforts
- Coach employees, communicate performance goals and develop improvement plans
- Model leadership behaviors and promote open communication and employee development
- Oversee merchandise presentation and evaluate inventory performance
- Implement customer relationship and loyalty management programming
- Manage payroll expense and ensure appropriate staffing coverage
- Serve as manager-in-charge of the store as required
- Maintain operational awareness of leased businesses and ensure seamless customer service
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years supervisory experience with accountability for driving sales
- Proven track record of exceeding sales and profit targets
- Retail selling experience in a luxury environment preferred
- Ability to recruit, coach and develop high-performing teams
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience implementing customer loyalty and CRM programs
- Knowledge of health and safety and privacy compliance requirements
