Job Description

Summary

As a Sales Manager at Montblanc in Chicago, you will co-manage the sales, customer service, and operations of the retail boutique, focusing on the growth and development of the sales team. You will play a key role in driving store sales and ensuring a luxury client experience.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and direct the day-to-day sales operations of the boutique.
  • Develop strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales, and increase profitability.
  • Develop a strong sales team to deliver consistent luxury client experience.
  • Implement and execute sales initiatives.
  • Ensure customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient.
  • Ensure all products and displays are merchandised effectively to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Forecast staffing needs and develop a recruiting strategy with the District Manager.
  • Participate in the annual review process.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in retail sales.
  • Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Lead and direct the work of others.
  • Excellent understanding and appreciation of the luxury goods markets.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate good working relations within the company.
  • Highly creative and an out-of-the-box thinker.
  • Self-motivated, seeking challenge and growth.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and experience with Client Relationship Management systems and Outlook.
