Job Description

Summary

As a Sales Manager at Neiman Marcus in Austin, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales experience of a store department, driving team goals, and building a customer-oriented sales experience. You will work on-site and report to a Senior Group Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Drive maximum sales and growth in partnership with other functional leads.
  • Oversee merchandise and communications with merchant and vendor partners.
  • Manage team execution and adjust for risks and roadblocks.
  • Contribute to strategic goals and set departmental priorities.
  • Review business with Buyers and discuss action plans for positive results.
  • Establish plans and strategies with Client Development Leads.
  • Analyze customer behaviors, trends, and preferences to adjust processes.
  • Plan and complete departmental budgets to minimize expenses and maximize revenue.
  • Support audit compliance and enforce department controls.
  • Manage people, product placement, and sales promotion within the department.
Requirements
  • 4-6 years of relevant luxury retail fashion experience.
  • Proven track record of achieving results.
  • Experience in building, leading, motivating, and coaching teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
