Summary
The Sales Manager oversees the sales experience for one or more store departments, drives sales and growth, and builds a customer-oriented team. This on-site role partners with other store leaders and reports to a Senior Group Manager.
Responsibilities
- Drive department sales and growth in alignment with company vision and values.
- Oversee merchandise presentation and communication with merchant and vendor partners, including returns and damages.
- Manage team execution, set departmental priorities, and contribute to strategic store goals.
- Review business with buyers and develop action plans to improve results.
- Partner with Client Development Leads to establish plans and strategies.
- Analyze customer behaviors, trends, and preferences and adjust processes and standards accordingly.
- Plan and complete departmental budgets, manage expenses, and support audit compliance and stockroom controls.
- Manage people, product placement, and sales promotions within the department.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience, including luxury retail fashion experience.
- Track record of achieving results and building, leading, motivating, and coaching teams.
- Collaborative mindset.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to perform role-related physical tasks, which may include standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting or carrying up to 10 pounds.
