SummaryAs a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for achieving sales objectives and growing sales volume for Classic Optical within an assigned geographic territory. You will foster relationships with new and existing independent eye care professionals, research and pursue contract opportunities, and coordinate with lab associates to ensure growth and support of Classic Optical’s customer base.
Responsibilities- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers, offering exceptional customer service and solutions to their individual practice needs.
- Stay current on product offerings, industry trends, and plan benefits to effectively communicate value propositions and demonstrate product benefits to customers.
- Develop and execute a territory plan to drive sales, including setting priorities and managing your schedule for maximum efficiency.
- Conduct regular market research to identify new business opportunities and competitive advantages in the region.
- Use cold calling, networking, and other strategies to generate qualified leads and schedule meetings with potential clients.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and negotiations to close sales.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using technology.
- Work closely with contracting, customer service, and other internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and effective execution of sales strategies.
- Provide valuable feedback from customers to help improve product offerings, pricing, and customer service practices.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent sales experience.
- Demonstrated sales results with at least 2 years of consultative sales experience.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skillset.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport with customers and understand their needs.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Optical or retail experience strongly preferred.
- Experience calling on healthcare providers.
- Licensed optician.
