Summary
The Sales Supervisor supports the Boutique Manager in day to day boutique management and achieving sales goals for specific product categories. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, supervising and coaching the sales team, participating in merchandising, inventory and staffing activities, and minimizing stock losses.
Responsibilities
- Assist in achieving sales targets and monitor sales performance and conversion rates daily
- Supervise coach and motivate sales associates and assist in assigning sales goals
- Provide outstanding customer service and develop clientele
- Participate in staffing scheduling and team training on product knowledge and selling skills
- Prepare merchandise displays and apply merchandising guidelines
- Participate in sales promotions trunk shows and in store advertising activities
- Oversee and participate in department inventories and merchandise transfers
- Monitor pricing minimize stock losses and ensure proper merchandise handling
- Ensure compliance with company policies security procedures and store closing protocols
Requirements
- At least 4 years of retail experience preferably with at least 1 year of management in a luxury setting
- Strong product and range knowledge and fashion sensitivity
- Proven ability to develop train and lead sales associates
- Excellent interpersonal communication organization and follow through skills
- Ability to maintain presence on the selling floor for extended periods
- Commercial initiative and creativity with a customer focused mindset
- Ability to operate POS systems and other store equipment
