Job Description

Summary

The Sales Supervisor is a full-time, sales-driven leadership role based in Newport, CA responsible for achieving individual sales targets while setting the example for exceptional customer service and store standards. In the absence of Store Management, the Sales Supervisor oversees store staff, conducts store meetings, and ensures operational and visual merchandising standards are maintained. This role supports team development, clienteling, and local market initiatives to drive store KPIs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example in customer service, product knowledge, and brand representation.
  • Achieve and exceed individual sales goals and support the team to meet store KPIs (UPT, ADT, etc.).
  • Oversee store staff in the absence of Store Management, including scheduling, coaching, and resolving customer issues.
  • Conduct store meetings, facilitate client appointments, and drive clienteling and local networking efforts.
  • Manage operational tasks such as opening/closing procedures, inventory management, and maintaining visual merchandising standards.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of store team members.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a luxury retail environment or similar industry.
  • Prior experience selling high-end goods and working with clientele-oriented sales.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office) and familiarity with retail systems (e.g., Teamwork or similar).
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and customer service skills with the ability to motivate a team.
  • Ideally a cultivated clientele following and willingness to relocate for career development opportunities.
