Summary
Supervise the sales floor to ensure a consistent memorable customer shopping experience using high standards of service while building client relationships and supporting store leadership development. Partner with managers to learn leadership duties and positively influence the store team.
Responsibilities
- Supervise sales floor operations and uphold customer service standards.
- Coach, mentor, and manage sales associates to expand clientele and maximize sales.
- Support opening and closing procedures and complete returns and exchanges when managers are absent.
- Maintain merchandise and visual presentation standards including stock maintenance and floor changeovers.
- Use product knowledge and selling tools to meet and exceed personal sales and SPH goals.
- Participate in training, give and receive feedback, and identify training needs.
- Support management with daily tasks, task tracker updates, and retail web communications.
- Utilize CEM role and promote new business initiatives to the sales team.
- Demonstrate professional etiquette and uphold the brand aesthetic.
Requirements
- Relevant retail sales experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to coach and develop staff and guide toward goal achievement.
- Analytical and business acumen with strong computer skills preferred.
- Ability to operate register, stand and walk for multiple hours, and perform stockroom tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and climb moderately using a ladder per safety guidelines.
- Commitment to product knowledge and customer excellence training.
