Job Description

Summary

As a Sales and Communication Intern at Hermès, you will support the Métaphores US & Canada team with sales, merchandising, and communication responsibilities. This full-time internship offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in sales operations, performance analysis, and communication execution, all while working in the heart of New York City.

Responsibilities
  • Support sales operations by partnering with showrooms in the US for ordering needs, stock, and price requests.
  • Create new client accounts and quotes in the internal sales system.
  • Assist with the process of fabric cuttings for approval (CFA).
  • Collaborate with the office in France on special projects and requests.
  • Support the commercial team with monthly sales reports and performance analysis.
  • Manage fabric sampling allocations and replenishment processes.
  • Assist in updating the sampling ordering website.
  • Support merchandising needs for new collection launches and execute visual merchandising plans.
  • Develop and execute the brand’s communication plan, including press requests and internal communication reports.
  • Participate in events and showhouses in the design sector.
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree, enrolled for the internship duration.
  • Passion for luxury design and craftsmanship.
  • Creative with strong written communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and French.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
