Job Description

Summary

As a Sales and Communication Intern at Hermès, you will support the Métaphores US & Canada team with sales, merchandising, and communication responsibilities. This full-time internship offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in sales operations, performance analysis, and communication execution, complementing your academic studies.

Responsibilities
  • Support sales operations and performance analysis, including partnering with US showrooms for ordering needs and creating client quotes.
  • Assist in the process of fabric cuttings for approval and collaborate with the office in France on special projects.
  • Create monthly sales reports, identifying performance opportunities and KPIs.
  • Manage fabric sampling allocations and update the sampling ordering website.
  • Support merchandising needs for new collection launches and execute visual merchandising plans.
  • Develop and execute the brand's communication plan, including press requests and event participation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree, enrolled for the internship duration.
  • Passion for luxury design and craftsmanship.
  • Creative with strong written communication skills.
  • Fluent in English; French is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
