Sample Assistant - Photo Studio

The Sample Assistant - Photo Studio will support the photo studio operations for Nordstrom and the online store. This role involves prepping and organizing merchandise for daily shoots, requiring flexibility in hours during peak periods.

• Prepare samples for product and on-figure photography, including steaming and ironing.
• Maintain an organized system of sorting samples by size or specialty type.
• Accurately enter data into studio tracking tools.
• Support entering product descriptions, including measurements, content, and care details.
• Collaborate with Assistant Stylists, Stylists, Sample Coordinators, and Producers for efficient workflow.
• Maintain and organize the styling area and supplies.
• Ensure adherence to company and studio policies.

• Exceptional steaming and ironing skills.
• Complete knowledge of fabrics, care, and proper handling.
• Experience in high volume, e-commerce assisting is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to respond to business changes and priorities.
• Proficiency with Mac OS and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds.
