Summary

Alters and tailors Ralph Lauren garments to exacting quality standards while providing an exceptional client experience. Partners with sales professionals to support fittings and contributes to a productive, collaborative workroom.

Responsibilities

• Alter and tailor garments accurately, following quality standards and garment-marking practices.
• Build rapport with clients, identify their needs, and partner with sales professionals during fittings.
• Meet productivity objectives and contribute to team performance.
• Handle garments with care and accurately enter information into alterations tracking and workflow systems.
• Share product and customer feedback with managers and follow workroom health and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Exceptional attention to detail, precision, and craftsmanship.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Luxury tailoring experience preferred; experience mentoring or training others in a technical capacity is an advantage.
• Ability to operate tailoring machinery and meet physical requirements, including moving around the sales floor and work areas, lifting up to 30 pounds, and sitting, standing, and walking for multiple hours.
