Job Description

Summary

Seamstress responsible for delivering premium tailoring and alteration services at the Flagship Boutique, ensuring garments meet brand standards and alteration deadlines while supporting a seamless client experience. The role involves conducting precise fittings, performing quality checks, maintaining the tailor shop, and collaborating with boutique staff to uphold craftsmanship and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Execute premium tailoring and alteration services to meet brand global standards and deadlines.
  • Assess garments to identify necessary adjustments and recommend alteration methods.
  • Conduct precise client fittings and provide expert guidance respecting client preferences.
  • Perform thorough quality checks on finished alterations ensuring cleanliness and precision.
  • Share collection alteration information with boutique staff to maintain consistency.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully equipped tailor shop and report needs for tools and supplies.
  • Assist in stock quality control, repairing or adjusting items as necessary.
  • Ensure timely and accurate record keeping for tailoring activities using after sales platforms and tools.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of professional tailoring experience, preferably in luxury fashion.
  • Strong knowledge of fabrics and garment construction.
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision in stitching and finishing.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced retail environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement.
  • Availability to work retail hours including weekends and flexible scheduling.
  • Passion for creating exceptional client experiences and providing expert advice.
