Seasonal Administrative Assistant supporting a top seller in a busy department store. Provide exceptional customer service, assist with the selling process, prepare fitting rooms, and help maintain merchandise presentation and department upkeep during shifts.
Responsibilities
- Support salesperson in all aspects of the selling process
- Set up customer fitting rooms with merchandise selected by the salesperson
- Perform daily department maintenance tasks such as stock work and remerchandising
- Update displays and execute price markdowns and merchandise transfers
- Assist with light cleaning and overall department presentation
- Build positive relationships with customers and team members
- Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced retail environment
- Handle merchandise including lifting and moving items as needed
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with customers and coworkers
- Strong organizational skills and attention to follow through
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle customer concerns positively and proactively
- Capacity for continuous movement for 6 to 8 hours per shift
- Frequent use of hands for grasping and fine manipulation
- Ability to lift regularly up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
