Summary
Seasonal Store Support team member assisting customers at point of sale and by phone, maintaining the sales floor and cash wrap, supporting order fulfillment and pick-up, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers over the phone and at checkout with sales, returns and other transactions
- Provide friendly knowledgeable customer service and help with purchase decisions
- Keep department runway ready by straightening, lightly cleaning and restocking cash wrap and sales floor
- Support other store areas including order fulfillment and order pick up
- Communicate upcoming events and store programs such as gift cards and rewards
- Prioritize multiple customer requests and tasks in a busy environment
- Perform continuous movement tasks including bending, twisting, squatting and reaching
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organization skills and attention to follow through
- Problem solving ability and customer focused attitude
- Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn new applications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Capacity for frequent use of hands and fine manipulation
- Ability to lift regularly up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
