Summary

Responsible for receiving, processing, organizing and delivering merchandise to selling departments while fulfilling customer orders and supporting store operations. Works independently in a fast paced retail environment, utilizing inventory systems and following packing and shipping standards. Role requires physical lifting and a flexible schedule to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload freight and unpack merchandise
• Deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments
• Fulfill customer orders and prepare shipments following quality and packing standards
• Use inventory management systems to scan and process shipments
• Research merchandise shipments and support inventory control processes
• Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
• Support store activities such as special event setup, markdowns and fixture relocation

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• Strong ownership, accountability and initiative
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfort using various technology and computer applications
• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
