Responsibilities
- Receive and unload freight and unpack merchandise for placement on selling floors
- Deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments and relocate store fixtures as needed
- Fulfill and prepare customer orders following packing and shipping standards
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan and process shipments and research discrepancies
- Assist with maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
- Support store activities including special event setup and markdowns
- Handle merchandise movement including lifting and carrying items per physical requirements
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong ownership, accountability and initiative
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfort using various technology and computer applications
- Flexible schedule availability based on business needs
- Physical ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours with frequent bending and reaching
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds
