Summary
Seasonal logistics processor responsible for receiving, unpacking and delivering merchandise to selling departments, fulfilling and shipping customer orders, and supporting store operations while maintaining inventory accuracy and clean work areas.
Responsibilities
- Receive and unload freight and unpack incoming merchandise for selling departments
- Deliver merchandise to selling floors and organize stockrooms
- Fulfill and prepare customer orders following packing and shipping standards
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan and process shipments and research discrepancies
- Assist with special event setup, markdowns and relocating store fixtures
- Maintain clean and organized selling floors and backrooms
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending and carrying merchandise
Requirements
- High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using technology and new computer applications
- Flexible schedule based on business needs including physical work for 6-8 hours per shift
- Ability to lift and carry frequently up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
