Summary
The Seasonal Support Associate helps drive sales and profit through efficient merchandise processing and well-organized stockroom operations. The role prepares incoming merchandise for the selling floor and supports seasonal store operations.
Responsibilities
- Receive, record, offload, sort, and prepare merchandise and supplies.
- Tag and ticket merchandise, complete price changes, and process damages, salvage, and returns to vendor.
- Maintain an organized stockroom and receiving area, and protect company assets by following operational procedures.
- Place merchandise on the selling floor according to floor maps and visual standards, and confirm customer-facing signage is complete.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and support team members in providing a positive customer experience.
Requirements
- No experience required; candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and basic math skills.
- Highly organized and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Flexible availability for retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
- Able to walk, stand, reach, crouch, climb ladders, use computers and handheld equipment, and frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds.
