Summary

As a Seasonal Operations Specialist based on Madison Avenue, you will support in-store operational and inventory activities to ensure efficient merchandise flow and stockroom standards. The role includes managing shipments, replenishing the sales floor, performing cycle counts and audits, and collaborating with sales and operations teams to optimize availability. This temporary position focuses on maintaining accurate inventory and smooth store operations.

Responsibilities

• Optimize inventory flow and process incoming and outgoing shipments and transfers.
• Move merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor and maintain inventory levels aligned with sales potential.
• Conduct cycle counts and regular audits to verify quantities and product conditions; report discrepancies.
• Implement security measures and prepare products for display.
• Maintain organized, labeled, and accessible stockroom layouts to facilitate sales.
• Coordinate with external couriers and the operations team to ensure accurate shipping and timely delivery.
• Provide the sales team with regular updates on inventory availability.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of operational and inventory experience, preferably in a luxury retail environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and other digital tools.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Solid knowledge of operations and inventory control and ability to perform audits.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 40 pounds.
