Responsibilities
- Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
- Provide styling advice and honest feedback on fit and style
- Use networking and technology to grow customer following and sales
- Fill orders, stock merchandise, and perform re-merchandising and price markdowns
- Keep the department customer ready through light cleaning and organization
- Enroll customers in the Nordstrom Rewards program to grow relationships
- Work a variable and flexible schedule based on business needs
- Occasionally perform duties in other departments as required
Requirements
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Self-motivated and goal oriented with strong sales focus
- Interest and ability to use social media and technology for selling
- Ability to work effectively in a team and prioritize multiple tasks
- Organizational skills and strong follow through
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including variable hours
- Physical ability to move continuously 6-8 hours, including bending and reaching
- Frequent use of hands for grasping and manipulation
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
