Responsibilities
- Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using selling tools such as text and social media
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow the customer following
- Provide excellent customer service and confident style and fit guidance
- Fill orders, stock merchandise, re-merchandise, and perform price markdowns
- Perform light cleaning and ensure the department is customer ready
- Open new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts to grow customer relationships
- Work a flexible schedule that varies by week based on business needs
- Occasionally perform duties in other departments as required
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and goal oriented with strong interest in using technology and networking to achieve sales goals
- Ability to excel in a team environment and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Organization and reliable follow through on tasks
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Physical ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours per shift including bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
- Frequent use of hands for grasping and manipulation and ability to handle bulky items
- Ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
