Seasonal logistics processor responsible for receiving, unpacking and delivering merchandise, fulfilling and shipping customer orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting store operations during peak season. Responsibilities
- Receive and unload freight and unpack newly arrived merchandise
- Deliver merchandise to selling departments and organize stockrooms
- Fulfill customer orders accurately and timely following packing and shipping standards
- Use inventory management systems to scan and process shipments
- Research merchandise shipments and support inventory control processes
- Assist with setting up special events and relocating store fixtures
- Perform markdowns and general backroom organization
- Maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
Requirements
- High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using various technologies and computer applications
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending and reaching
- Frequent use of hands for grasping and manipulation and ability to handle bulky items
- Regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds; frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
