Summary

Seasonal logistics processor responsible for receiving, unpacking and delivering merchandise to selling departments and fulfilling customer orders while maintaining inventory accuracy and an organized sales floor and stockroom. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail and the ability to work a flexible schedule to support store operations during peak season.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload freight and unpack merchandise for distribution to departments
• Deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments and organize backroom
• Fulfill and prepare customer orders following packing and shipping standards
• Utilize inventory management systems to scan and process shipments
• Research merchandise discrepancies in accordance with inventory control processes
• Assist with store tasks such as markdowns, set up special events and relocate fixtures
• Maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
• Provide general support to store team as needed

Requirements

• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
• Capacity for continuous movement for 6-8 hours including bending and reaching
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Comfort using technology and new computer applications
• High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
