Summary
Seasonal logistics processor responsible for receiving and processing merchandise shipments, fulfilling and preparing customer orders, and supporting store operations to ensure timely and accurate customer experiences. Role requires physical handling of merchandise, use of inventory systems, and flexibility to meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Receive and unload freight and unpack newly arrived merchandise
- Deliver merchandise to selling departments and maintain organized stockrooms
- Fulfill customer orders following quality packing and shipping standards
- Prepare and ship customer orders meeting packing and shipping guidelines
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan and process shipments
- Research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes
- Assist with store support tasks such as set up special events and markdowns
- Relocate store fixtures and help maintain clean selling floors
Requirements
- High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfort using various technology and computer applications
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Eligible to work in the location and pass background check as required
