Seasonal Sales Support - Chevy Chase

Summary

The Operations Professional (Seasonal Sales Support) is the back-of-house specialist who provides operational and client service support to the store. This role manages order fulfillment, inventory, shipping and receiving, basic jewelry care and repairs while partnering closely with Sales Professionals and management. The seasonal position focuses on operational excellence and supporting memorable in-store client experiences.

Responsibilities

• Perform order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, replenishment and merchandise transfers.
• Clean and perform basic care on jewelry, intake repairs and manage related shipping.
• Monitor and reconcile merchandise inventory using reports and systems; report discrepancies to management or corporate partners.
• Handle internal and external phone and e-mail correspondence and capture client data to support sales.
• Partner with Sales Professionals and management to optimize sales opportunities and deliver exceptional client service.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work retail store hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Organized, detail oriented and flexible to perform varied day-to-day tasks.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Preferred: college/university degree and graduate gemologist degree or GIA coursework.
