Seasonal Shipping Clerk

Summary

Seasonal Shipping Clerk responsible for processing outbound product for customers, preparing export documentation for international shipments, maintaining shipping stations and supplies, and supporting other department functions as needed. Role requires knowledge of shipping systems, carrier scheduling, and proper packing and labeling procedures. Position supports timely and accurate shipping operations within the distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Process and disposition outbound product using designated shipping methods
• Submit export documentation electronically to AES Direct for international shipments
• Use Pitney Bowes and QAD for shipping, receiving, verifying and picking
• Verify store and invoice information prior to packaging shipments
• Maintain organized shipping stations and manage supply inventory
• Schedule carrier pick ups such as Brinks, Malca Amit and Dunbar
• Pack out items for all carriers and print end of day reports
• Assist with picking, verifying and other departmental needs as required
• Organize, consolidate and pack out repairs based on daily priorities

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position or environment
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented with ability to multi task
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat
• Familiarity with R F scanning and shipping/picking/verifying processes
• Understanding of international shipment documentation and customer requirements
• Ability to follow loading dock, shipping, receiving and security procedures
