Seasonal Visual Merchandiser - Washington Square

Summary

The Seasonal Visual Merchandiser creates eye-catching store presentations and supports execution of visual standards and promotional displays. This role partners with department managers to maintain and teach merchandising strategies, installs trim and window presentations, and assists with in store lighting and prop construction. The schedule is variable and based on store needs.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain knowledge of visual merchandising strategies and trends
• Partner with department managers to uphold and teach visual standards
• Support merchandising, signing, and implementation of directional plans
• Install and remove trim and window presentations for store promotions
• Support execution of the in store lighting program
• Customize visual presentations appropriate to the store
• Use ladders and tools to assemble and install props and displays

Requirements

• Experience in merchandising and styling with knowledge of current fashion trends
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Basic construction skills for building and assembling visual props preferred
• Ability to use ladders, drills, box knives, and other tools
• Computer proficiency and comfort learning new applications
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store needs
