Summary
The Security Manager - Dallas Fort Worth oversees security operations at warehouse facilities and corporate offices, developing and implementing policies, managing investigations and budgets, training staff, and ensuring safety of personnel, assets and inventory.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive security policies procedures and protocols for warehouse facilities
- Ensure measures to prevent theft vandalism unauthorized access and other security breaches
- Maintain and redesign electronic security systems including CCTV alarms access and metal detection
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and threats
- Investigate security incidents prepare detailed reports with findings and recommendations
- Develop and manage security budgets monitor expenditures and identify optimization opportunities
- Build relationships with internal and contract security forces supervisors officers and on site management
- Serve as liaison with law enforcement agencies and security vendors and provide security awareness training
- Supervise train and develop security supervisors and officers ensuring adherence to protocols
Requirements
- High school diploma required college preferred
- At least 3 years of security management and private law enforcement experience
- Direct experience with distribution and fulfillment center security
- Understanding of logistics workflow and process
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic security systems
- Excellent communication skills and strong report writing attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
